60 foot times?

Just curious for those that drag race what kind of 60' times you are getting? What rpm's are you launching at?
Last weekend I did a prosolo in Toledo (autox with a tree and drag race starts). Most of my 60' times were around 1.85-1.95- (235-40-17 street tires, stock trans and clutch, basically a stage 2 2.0 WRX with stock boost wastegate mapping). My reaction times were kind of all of the place .56 to .88.
I would basically hold my rpms around 5k till the second light lit- bring the revs up from there and let the clutch out pretty quick.

i got 1.66 revving around 5k no launch control with street tires. you just have to get used to it. although with yours only being a stage 2 wrx i don't see it getting better than 1.7.

If I could get consistent 1.80 I be more than happy. I'm guessing I'm not letting the clutch out quite quick enough. I'm also pretty sure the grip levels are pretty different between a drag strip and a concrete parking lot/airport.
Juice- do you just hold 5k or do you "bounce" up and down and hope your bounce ends up hitting the same as the lights to build a little boost?

concrete or anywhere else on the street doesn't compare to a prepped track, unless you're prepping a road but i doubt that. you really don't need to worry about reaction time and the tree unless you're actually racing someone (since your time starts when you leave the line) whenever i stage i only worry about getting the right launch. i look at the rpm's at first and make sure it's between 5000k and 5500k "bouncing" (id rather spin a little than bog and adjust tire pressure later) then after that i can hear where i need to be and just watch the tree from there. the best thing you can do is keep going to the track, hope you don't fry your clutch and keep practicing. my car and yours are different so you'll just have to figure out that sweet spot.

Thanks for the advice guys. Unfortunately I do have to worry about reaction time- in a Prosolo you have two cars start on mirrored courses and typically have about 200' of straight before the first corner, and the clock starts on the green. Since Subaru's have an inferior suspesnion design and don't handle as well as the other cars in the class (RX8's, 3 series BMW's, & '89 civic Si's), I need to get the most out of the launch.
